# Bundled firmware notice

`nrf-sniffer-ble_v4.1.1_makerdiary-nrf52840-mdk.uf2` is Nordic Semiconductor's
official **nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE** firmware, version 4.1.1, converted
from Nordic's `.hex` release to the `.uf2` format Adafruit's UF2 bootloader
(used by the Makerdiary nRF52840-MDK USB Dongle) expects, using Microsoft's
`uf2conv.py` targeting UF2 family `0x2886F00F`.

- Source: Nordic's official `nrfutil ble-sniffer` firmware bundle
  (`sniffer_nrf52840dk_nrf52840_4.1.1.hex`).
- SHA-256 of the bundled `.uf2`:
  `a24e9295a57eedf7469943a058cc659a0bbefe0990fd79df9ae26288c47870f5`
- This exact firmware/dongle combination is what this project's own
  handshake captures were validated against.
